Teamlead Workplace Tech Support & Infrastructure
Description
- Manage team of 3-5 workplace tech support engineers, 2 country teamleads (dotted-line), and external vendors.
- Oversee day-to-day support of approx. 200 local and 100 remote staff members.
- Own incident/problem/change management processes for workplace tech support.
- Be point person for executive board members and their offices and be readily available for hands-on support when necessary.
- Own management of global Office 365 tenant, as well as other workplace-related software.
- Oversee support for audio-visual setup in meeting rooms for optimal meeting experience (Polycom, MS Teams, Zoom) and sound experience.
- Operate Cisco-based network day-to-day in cooperation with Network & Security team.
- Manage workplace hardware procurement.
- Understand enterprise application estate (managed by enterprise tech team) and manage touchpoints (e.g., user management).
- Assist in security incident management.
- Continuously improve and mature incident/problem/change management, starter/changer/leaver, procurement and other processes.
Requirements
- You completed a Masters or Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or similar.
- You have managed a small-medium sized team of workplace support engineers
- You have hands-on experience in support executives and staff with their laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
- You have experience in managing audio-visual equipment.
- You have managed, or at least experience with, incident/problem/change management.
- You have experience with managing Office365, Jamf, SCCM, Okta, Cisco and Juniper or equivalents.
- You have a deeply rooted drive to provide high-quality customer service with a great deal of empathy.
- You have shown the ability to prioritize (and deprioritize) work effectively.
- You are a good communicator and you’re comfortable adjusting your communication to different character types.
- You appreciate continuous learning and having an impact.
- English is a must, German a nice to have.
