The Role The Stage Manager reports to the Head of Projects and works alongside other Project Managers in the Programme Team and also in partnership with many other key departments, external companies and Institutions. The Stage Manager will be involved primarily with managing disguise’s LED stages at HQ and globally and also including customer facing projects, in-house productions, ensuring all projects’ timely delivery to quality and within timescale. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills with proven prior experience of successful project management within a creative environment. They will need to be confident in managing clients and customers, enforcing processes, raising issues and excellent scheduling skills. They will also need some knowledge of disguise systems.
WHAT YOU ARE HERE TO DO
  • Take active control of stage management, scheduling and event management.
  • Manage multiple productions including management of internal & external resources.
  • Work to, and enforce correct project procedures, chasing of content & other project requirements.
  • Stakeholder management Clear communication Work collaboratively with global internal and external teams.
  • Especially liaising with the disguise Labs (NZ) for content creation.
  • Make decisions within given tolerance

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, to budget, on time and to a high quality
  • Proven knowledge of large event management and projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Event management & disguise systems experience
  • Self starter with a ‘can do’ attitude First class communication, analytical, problem solving and team management abilities
  • Create and sustain a positive and productive team culture to ensure success
  • Someone who is flexible, innovative and forward thinking
