🎵 With a blend of human curation and our custom-built tech, VinylBox will bring some of the very best albums from the millions released through the years and new releases, to help listeners who love music but want more than just streaming the same songs over and over again.
🌏 With 1000s of records already shipped, a 4.7* Trustpilot rating, and a rapidly growing subscription offering, we are looking to create the ultimate membership for vinyl lovers around the world.
⭐️ Backed by Universal Music, We are hugely ambitious about the national and international potential of VinylBox, starting with becoming the go to brand for Vinyl in the UK. We are currently at an exciting growth stage of scaling up - our full subscription proposition launched in May and we have acquired 200 subscribers so far.
🎵 This is a great opportunity to work hands-on in the music industry within an exciting e-commerce start-up from the beginning of our business and growth journey. Though your main focus areas will be on marketing and brand, in your leadership role you will naturally have exposure to all areas of the business.
How you can expect to spend your day:
Always on activity
- Oversight of paid and organic digital channels
- Working with our digital agency to optimise our marketing funnel and keep CPA low
- Taking on and driving on our marketing / content calendar, to continue our clear view of both short and long term priorities
- Manage brand partnerships day to day
- Look at how we can create profitable behaviours from our existing customer base, and improve their retention.
Campaigns
- Create, implement, analyse and drive multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive growth (customer acquisition, revenue and market share)
- Bring in partners (brands and influencers)
Brand building
- Drive longer term brand building activity across both online and offline channels
- Constant hunger to test new channels such as tik tok and reddit
- Work with Gordon Smart, our head of music (and former Radio X presenter) on growing our brand and reputation within the music industry
- Work closely with Jax, our PR freelancer on PR opportunities
- Work with international teams for the launch of VinylBox globally!
The team around you
- Within the marketing team, you will work closely and manage Alice who is our marketing exec and has been with us since the very early stages of VinylBox. We are also hiring a social media / marketing intern who will be part of the team and help with content creation
- Day to day you will work closely with Oli and Elizabeth too, with support / oversight from Andy Agar, our CMO who focuses primarily on partnerships
- We also have Jax on board who runs our PR efforts
- We work closely with our digital media partner In Digital and also have a freelance developer and UX / customer experience SME
