Senior A&R / Creative Manager

JOB SUMMARY
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day-to-day running of our roster. Providing our creators with exciting and fruitful sessions with both established artists, writers and producers. Mainly in Stockholm, but also where our creators travel and operate.)
- Responsible for artists relations, project- and production management.
- Accomplishing agreed financial targets, budget responsibilities and result-oriented strategies
- Secure cuts, supervise production agreement negotiations and oversee releases
- Pitching songs from our catalogue to artists, music supervisors, production companies, sync companies etc
- Talent scouting - Identifying and signing the best of the best
- Expanding Baggpipe’s network and CRM system with relevant relationships for our different values. Represent Baggpipe at relevant events and industry conferences. Regularly attending gigs, showcases and current music events.
- Feedbacking music and supervising the writing/creating/producing process for the creators when necessary
- Keep track of changes and opportunities within the wider music industry, new music trends, music business developments and strategies, products and challenges. When possible keep in mind the companies possibilities to expand the business within master rights and nurture the network and structures around, DSP:s, the PR-process and traditional label operations.
- Work full time and have the ability to work under hours when work is desired and to travel and attend to business events when needed.
- As a Senior A&R / Creative Manager you report directly to our CEO but also make sure that the interests for the company and the efficiency around the processes concerns everyone in the team.
Requirements
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong network within the music industry on both national and international level
- Experience in working with songwriters
- Interested in people and great social skills
- Excellent organizational & project management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and operate effectively in a high pressured environment
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing market landscapes
- Fluent in Swedish and English (verbal and written)
- Pro-active, team player & independent
