We're now hiring School Music Sales Specialists with backgrounds in Band & Orchestra and/or Music Education to support our Woodwind & Brasswind brand, as we continue to grow our School Services team nationwide. This primarily "work from home" position spends much of the time responding to and connecting with music educators, providing world-class sales support and customer service.
You will be responsible for managing most facets of the customer experience through all contact channels including chat, email, and inbound & outbound phone calls. You are front and center to the success of our business and provide our educators with the best buying experience possible ensuring repeat patronage.

Essential Functions:
  • Communicate with potential new and existing Customers by handling any inbound communication (phone, email, chat, etc.) within defined service levels
  • Provide competitive pricing using defined guidelines leveraging promotional and consultative selling techniques
  • Execute all facets of institutional customer accounts including but not limited to sales, service, quoting, purchase order processing, and tax requirements
  • Execute all operational processes in support of each sale and partner with internal departments on payment or account/order status
  • Achieve performance expectations including but not limited to call handling metrics, adherence, and quality standards to drive customer experience and productivity goals
  • Operational administrative tasks may be assigned as needed; additional duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Intermediate knowledge of Band and Orchestral instruments
  • Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education or 1-year relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Must be in a commutable distance to M&A Corporate located in the state of MD, PA, VA, WV, or DC
Preferences:
  • Bilingual; the ability to understand and to make oneself understood to all Spanish speaking individuals
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or similar systems
