Spotify is seeking an outstanding Sales Manager to scale our exciting, new initiative, Spotify for Work. As an ideal candidate, you strike a balance between long term strategic planning and delivering upon short term targets. You can influence a room of senior executives, as well as garner support from your peers. You are a fast-learner, and your passion for growth enables you to thrive in ever-evolving, startup-like environments.
What you'll do:
  • Support the development of a global sales strategy, improving the opportunity by market, vertical and firm size
  • Drive awareness for the proposition by preparing sales and marketing materials
  • Lead and grow outbound as well as inbound pipelines
  • Sign and onboard partners, working alongside key internal team members, including: Legal, Accounting, Finance, Licensing and Tax
  • Fuel subscriber growth by engaging, educating and encouraging partners to leverage Spotify for Work to achieve their strategic talent objectives
  • Serve as a Spotify for Work ambassador at industry events
  • Achieve subscriber and revenue targets
Where you'll be:
  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them
  • Where in the world? For this role, you will work from the East coast US, preferably in New York

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in sales, preferably in tech
  • An understanding of the global employee benefits space is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is a resourceful problem solver with a high adaptability to change
  • Strategic attitude with a strong commercial foresight and the ability to work with data
  • Influential communicator who can build trust and acquire buy-in from key decision makers, both internally and externally
  • Some global travel required
