Regional Concert Coordinator
Description
- Help secure hosts for each concert and manage communication with them to make sure that they have all they need
- Be well versed on our health & safety standards for venues, and make sure our hosts are meeting local regulations
- Collaborate with our production and artist team to make sure the artist and host sound requirements are covered
- Ensure all hosts and venues are properly vetted and managing other operational duties like scheduling host visits with local Crew
- Manage quality, ensuring an exceptional experience for every member of the Sofar community - audience members, artists, hosts and local crew
- Develop authentic, trust-based relationships with Hosts to facilitate feedback, engagement, and retention
- Support with local expansion, building a diverse and inclusive host and artist community in your region
- Contribute to achieving regional booking goals, always with a focus on host and arits support, quality of experience and diversity, equity and inclusion
- Oversee host profile updates and event details across Sofar platforms
Requirements
- You have a driving passion to support local musicians and to bring people together
- You’re comfortable working autonomously, making your own decisions while also collaborating and communicating with a diverse, distributed cross-functional team.
- In-the-know/ connected to the local scene in your own city and across your region
- You have a sincere and empathetic approach to leadership and develop a self-motivated culture of honesty, inclusivity and accountability
- You are organized, detail oriented & work well with deadlines
- You are able to work flexible working hours
- You’re creative in finding ways to bring the local hosts and community together
- Previous experience in producing live music events, customer service or hospitality is a big plus
- Eligible for employment in the US/UK/ CAN
