Description

Create Music Group is currently looking for a Project Manager Assistant. This position is responsible for supporting the Lead Project Manager with all aspects of the administration side relating to project management. This role requires an individual who is detailed oriented and has strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Distribution / label coordination - creating and updating various central label documents (one sheets, decks, release pitch notes, expenses, meeting agendas and notes, etc.)
  • Distribution / Label reporting/operations - collating weekly reports and artist/project highlights as needed
  • Administrative support - assisting with general admin including back catalog transfer and onboarding, organizing assets or deliverables, budget tracking, expenses, release timelines and deadlines, meeting scheduling, artist & employee travel, etc.
  • Team liaison - fielding additional administrative requests for the product management team from internal departments and externally from third parties
  • Assist with compiling and tracking necessary logistical information for new product
  • Manage marketing/promotional assets and links for approval/amendment
  • Assist with monitoring artist social activity to identify potential areas of growth and maximization for the marketing department

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years full-time work experience, preferably in music or entertainment. Emphasis on hip-hop preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) both with internal and external teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow through
  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight schedules while maintaining production of high quality work
  • Self-accountability to follow-through with proper and consistent updates to stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Apps, Slack, Asana, Tableau
  • Experience in basic social media functions/platforms and familiarity with current trends/campaigns.
  • Must be a creative team player with ability to strategically plan in an ambiguous environment
  • BA degree in related field (business/marketing, communications, etc.) is preferred
