Program Manager - Localization
Description
- Build, own, and maintain our horizontal relationships with key product functions across the company, including UX Writing and Product Management
- Lead the creation and development of localization education resources for employee development and learning
- Advocate, evangelize, and promote localization across Spotify’s product ecosystem
- Build relationships with relevant data partners to help influence decisions and understand localization impact
- Optimize localization’s place in the product development lifecycle and seek new opportunities to minimize downstream impact
- Contribute to product localization program strategy and OKRs
- Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of project managers
- Workflow optimization. Partner mapping and management
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management and 3+ years in localization
- You have a deep understanding of the localization pain points and understand how to engage with product partners to address these
- You know how to partner effectively with product development teams
- Skilled in distributed organization and process management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Ambiguous problem solver with creative solutions
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle and product development in general
- Comfortable working with product managers, UXR, UX writing/content design, product design, and other product development functions
