Production Executive - (Interactive Production Manager)
Description
- Interactive Production Managers lead on our first line and ongoing support with each service, working closely with the programme makers and others to deliver a robust and compliant audience engagement.
- Understanding the editorial requirements ensures we can ensure an appropriate technical solution is advised, along with appropriate and sufficient contingencies.
- A good knowledge in the internal and external regulatory framework is applied to each service, with recommendations around technology and methodology to meet these requirements and follow best practice.
- Engaging with other areas within BBC (including colleagues in Technology & Media Operations, Product, Legal, CRBA, Information Security, Data Privacy, Insurance, Marketing & Audiences) and external (such as industry bodies, production companies, BBC’s charities and commercial subsidiaries, service providers and verifiers engaged by ITACU) is essential, varying between projects as is maintenance of ITACU’s good reputation and working relationships.
- As a compliance unit our audit system needs to be kept up to date for each service, we maintain records so they can be reviewed internally or externally and are ready for third party inspection
- Ultimately it is about maintaining the trust in us with our audiences – when they vote on Strictly the result is robust, whether or not their favourite won. We facilitate fun, engaging content that meets all BBC’s broadcast needs.
