How You’ll Make An Impact
This role is part of the Product Operations department and will contribute to delivering initiatives part of our advertising Product roadmap. In this role, you will be responsible for program management of new ad products, capabilities and inventory throughout the product life cycle. You will launch products that drive revenue and features that delight internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have program management or product operations experience. You should have experience managing large scale programs in digital media company or in another similar field. You should be able to build robust programs and possess an ability to distill complicated issues into meaningful, actionable components for disparate audiences. You should be knowledgeable with requirements for enabling new products within CRM systems, order management solutions, ad serving and the sales supply chain. You should demonstrate past success in being a liaison with senior cross-functional leaders in Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Ad Technology. You should make recommendations for efficiency, scale and automation, and always question how to make things better, faster, easier. You should be able to work autonomously, but thrive on collaboration. You should enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Relationship-building skills, communication, and experience managing cross-functional teams are crucial. And, of course, you should love music and audio content.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead key go-to-market initiatives that have significant impact on Pandora, SXM Media, AdsWizz and SiriusXM’s monetization strategies
  • Define program scope, objectives and execution of deliverables throughout lifecycle of program
  • Drive buy-in on program strategy from senior leaders of cross-functional teams
  • Develop and coordinate realistic program, project estimates, plans and success metrics
  • Drive working groups, manage program plans, program status communication and related documentation
  • Manage distributed project execution teams to ensure successful completion
  • Communicate and partner with Product, Engineering Sales, and other Business Teams to build consensus and meet projected deadlines
  • Drive, manage and communicate status on programs from conception through launch, and provide post launch analysis by building strategic communication framework for internal constituents; manage proactive and reactive communications to various internal & external stakeholders
  • Drive development and rollout of best practices around new ad products/capabilities and technology platforms
  • Partner with Ad Product Marketing teams to develop marketing materials as needed
  • Partner with Training & Enablement team to produce materials and training programs as needed
  • Manage external partner relationships as necessary

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • 5-7 years in a Program Management, Technical Project Management, Client Services, Operations, or Business Analyst role at a digital or mobile media company or related industry
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills with internal & external audiences; polished and professional demeanor
  • Executive presence; prepared to surface updates and/or deliver presentations to Senior Level executives
  • Past success building senior leader relationships, driving cross functional teams and influencing decision-making
  • General knowledge of advertising market trends & competitive landscape
  • Experience and proven success managing large scale programs with Sales, Product and/or Engineering teams in a leadership capacity
  • Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • Established competency and thorough understanding of SXM Media’s advertising products, systems, and internal tools
  • Strong competence with industry standard web and mobile advertising operations vendors and concepts
  • Understanding of ad marketplaces, SDKs and APIs a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good judgment and great attitude
  • Mastery with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Confluence, JIRA and other productivity tools
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
