The role
The Producer role is an essential part of the team, owning and delivering a portfolio of
premium experiences and events across the ITV Studios business throughout the year that underpin the annual Brand Experiences strategy for ITV Studios. They will work closely with ITV stakeholders, external partners and with the wider Marketing team to build relationships, deliver objectives, KPIs and take our activity to the next level.
- Following the annual marketing plan and ad hoc requirements from across ITVS, this role plans and executes in-person and virtual events that deliver premium experiences for our customers and audiences.
- Use events, marketing and production expertise to steer successful project delivery; managing allocated projects from inception to delivery. Ensuring that the project is kept on time and within budget. Often working to quick turnaround times and tight budgets. Areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
- Setting of objectives and success criteria for experiences and events
- Set, communicate, manage and maintain project timelines and priorities.
- Implementing shared processes to keep the project team on track including the use of Monday.com
- Leading regular project meetings and briefings with internal teams and senior stakeholders for allocated projects
- Venue sourcing
- Talent and speaker sourcing
- Selection and appointment of production agencies and event partners.
- Work in partnership with ITV legal team to ensure robust supplier contracts and practises
- Agreeing and managing all event deliverables, collateral and content
- Preparation of detailed planning and briefing documents, calls and on site management for all aspects of the project including talent, production, creative, catering and ad hoc event deliverables, to ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard with a strong foundation of clear processes in place
- Owning and maintaining relationships with all across the project
- Delegate Management
- Managing allocated event budget and reconciliation, overseeing supplier payments
- Post event evaluation, results reporting and event debrief
- Bring fresh creative ideas to move events forward and exceed expectations. You will shape event content, format, look & feel in partnership with ITV stakeholders
- A passion for doing things differently and finding new ways to creatively bring the ITV Studios brand to life
- Forge strong links with key internal personnel including marketing team, press and comms teams, senior stakeholders, ITV management board; ability to build good working relationships with internal stakeholders, adapting to stakeholder styles and maintaining an open and flexible approach
- Act as a brand ambassador for Brand Experiences & ITV Studios Marketing across the business
- To support on both pre event and on site on for other projects across the team as required
- Adhere to all ITV policies including awareness of and compliance with the Bribery
- Act and ITV Hospitality policies
- A passion and interest in what is hot and current not just within the events industry but within day to day life; restaurants, food, theatre, advertising campaigns and activations, venues, exhibitions and experiential activities
Requirements
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Solid experience at Project Management / Producer level
- To be commercially minded and able to drive delivery of experiences and events
- according to KPIs and delivering to ROI
- Extensive experience delivering a diverse portfolio of experiences across B2B and B2C markets.
- A proactive, solution driven approach with the ability to pre-empt potential risks and challenges and find appropriate solutions through creative thinking
- Track record of outstanding event production management with good production expertise relating to design, build and AV
- Solid budget management experience for budgets up to £200k
- Experience managing event health & safety, risk assessments and contracting
- Experience engaging and influencing senior decision makers
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Experience working effectively under pressure, delivering projects on time and on budget
- Experience managing and delivering virtual and hybrid events
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Confident with all Mac operating systems, G Suite, MS office including Excel and Powerpoint
- Understanding of, but not essential, Keynote, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud
- An understanding of the media industry with a good knowledge of TV channels and programmes is preferred but not essential
- Extensive venue knowledge in the UK, specifically London and a good understanding of venue searching - where to go, what to consider and tools to use
Please note: The Brand Experiences team lead and manage all markets and events, and these can occur in the UK or global locations, and at different times of the day and night. Very long days should be expected from time to time, and occasional international travel will be required.
