Description

Meta is seeking a North America Music Publishing Partnerships Manager who is passionate about the changing music ecosystem, technology and supporting our goal of connecting people through social media, the mobile ecosystem and business strategy.
This role will be instrumental in management of Meta’s relationships with music publishers and societies, as well as collaboration with our Product, Operations, Engineering, and cross-functional Partnerships teams to ensure a coordinated and best-in-class music publishing partner management structure.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to optimization of the health of partnerships with music publishers and societies in North America
Partner with Product, Partnerships, Business Development, Engineering and Operations teams and externally with music publishing rights holders to ensure a comprehensive music strategy that supports our efforts to connect the global community on Meta
Maximize communication, education, data management, ingestion, reporting, payment and partnership growth with music publishers and societies
Create, innovate and execute on strategic creative programs in partnership with music publishing partners and songwriters
Remain as a source of deep insights about the music ecosystem to our executives

Requirements

5+ years experience working in a music partner relationship management or digital music account management
Digital music experience specific to music publishing rights
Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Experience in music partnerships, account management for global organizations, and music rights data management
Experience in commercial leadership with business development and operational experience with technology companies
Knowledge of digital business models and technology
Proven track record with high standards of professionalism
BA/BS Degree
