This position will provide support for the growing Music Team in Original Content Apple, specifically Non-Fiction Features & Series. We're seeking a collaborative team member with a friendly work style, who's well-organized, able to effectively multi-task & prioritize, takes initiative and is a self starter.
In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day tasks that contribute to the development and execution of Music within the original content and marketing for Apple TV+.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Provide administrative support across non-fiction projects (i.e. in charge of scheduling all non-fiction music team meetings, music deliverables, updating agendas etc.)
  • Track production/post schedules for non fiction slate
  • Create show playlists for Apple Music & Events
  • Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Proactively manage team support, ranging from printer management, supplies, facilities, IS&T
  • Maintain a database of composers, music supervisors, music editors and tastemakers that Apple and our partners can apply as needed
  • Track licensing agreements, NDA’s, composer, and music supervisor deals/information in Orion
  • Maintain a database of global music industry relationships including artists, managers, label executives and producers across a range of musical genres
  • Stay on top of new music trends, locally and internationally
  • Consistent interaction with studio executives, creative teams, show runners, musicians/composers & music supervisors
  • Maintain an up-to-date, searchable music library database
  • Quickly develop an understanding of the teams, operations, culture, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a Music Department at a major network, studio, agency or label
  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, and able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced, and time sensitive environment
  • Direct experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity; discreet and trustworthy
  • Inventive self-starter; eager to learn and grow, take on new challenges, share standard methodologies and bring a can-do attitude to the position
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business partnerships, both externally and cross-functionally
  • Calm under pressure
  • Exposure to music licensing, and knowledge of & experience with composers in film or TV
  • Passionate about music, non-fiction content and knowledgable about Apple's services
  • Proficient in Mail, Keynote and Excel/Numbers.
