Manager, Content Protection
Description
- Negotiate and draft NDAs, trial agreements, and service agreements in support of SME’s content protection efforts
- Draft correspondence and other written materials, including editing and reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and administer Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notices, takedown notices, and/or cease and desist letters
- Respond to requests from SME labels, affiliates, and artist camps to address unauthorized uses of SME copyrights, trademarks, and/or other rights violations
- Work with trade organizations (e.g., RIAA, IFPI), vendors, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams to support SME's content protection initiatives

Requirements
- Must possess Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1-2 years direct or equivalent experience working in content protection, intellectual property or patent-related fields
- Proficiency in legal writing and legal research
- Highly responsive, including capacity to handle urgent requests outside regular working hours
