International Production Specialist

Description

This role is vital to ensuring timely delivery of our international products worldwide, be it Physical (CD and Vinyl), Digital (Singles, Albums, Tiktok edits, etc.) or Video (delivering a variety of content across International VEVO Channels).
This role will specialize in creating/reviewing packaging copy and providing production approval of INTL graphic content be it localized or original.
In addition to arranging INTL mastering requests and routing for local and domestic approvals, this role will enter and review INTL metadata, follow up on pending legal rights, publishing, sales/marketing distribution plans and have the guarded ability to process necessary INTL updates post-release with our distributors.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for independently training and ensuring compliance in the use of all DMG systems that international employees have access to abroad, as well as ensuring that all INTL assets are appropriately archived in a timely manner.
In depth research for international preservation efforts to include preparing artwork, audio, and metadata for missing digital products in the marketplace.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year proofing copy/graphic assets
  • Minimum of 3 years working with metadata, preferably in the entertainment field
  • Energetic, efficient, excellent time-management skills; this is a FAST-PACED, continually evolving environment
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and high level of accuracy is critical
  • Highly intelligent and adaptable; quick learner
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills: very customer and service focused
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced skill with MAC/Parallels, Excel, Word.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and written
  • Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production, preferably in music
  • General knowledge of asset database management a plus Fluent in Japanese
