Drum Workshop is looking for a talented Front-End Web Designer & Developer to champion the design and development of our ever-growing stable of brand websites. As a key member of our Web Development team, your mission is to ensure the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, maximum efficiency and maintain brand consistency across all our web pages and optimize web pages for SEO. You have an authentic passion for design and can offer ideas, suggestions, and best practices, all while keeping the overarching business goals in focus. This role offers you the opportunity to leverage your demonstrated design knowledge to grow the DW family of brands. A passion for drums and experience in the music industry or as a working musician is highly valued.
What You’ll Do as our Front-End Web Designer & Developer:
Collaborate with the team to realize creative ideas and campaigns
Test/improve website performance, optimization and responsiveness across devices and browsers
Implement SEO and keyword functionality
Design marketing assets
Create mock-ups for web pages, web promos, digital advertising, and email blasts
Collaborate on the design of wireframes, web flows and user experience
Develop and support marketing creative concepts and implementation
Design visual imagery aligned with respective brands
Assist with B2C/B2B email communications across brands
Suggest new technologies and visual enhancements
Update website content/copy

Requirements

What You Bring as Our Front-End Web Designer & Developer:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or industry equivalent experience
3+ years demonstrated experience in web design
Solid knowledge of CMS systems
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Driven multi-tasker with a can-do attitude and ability to problem solve and think outside the box
A portfolio you’re proud to brag about
