Position Overview:
The Corporate Partnerships Manager (CPM) is responsible for leading the effort of securing and working with corporate partners (sponsors) for The Festival.
General Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Lead the annual effort of prospecting, soliciting, cultivating, and closing corporate sponsorships for the organization.
  • Ensure that partners get the best value, experience, and return possible.
  • Help to develop benefits, strategies, and pitch materials.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested

Locations:
  1. SGF Offices, 832 Folsom Street, San Francisco
  2. Home or other location (hybrid position)
  3. Sigmund Stern Grove, 19 th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard, San Francisco
Work Schedule:
This is a seasonal position. From December thru September, approximately 20 hours per week.For ten weeks during the concert series (mid June thru mid August), the CPM works at the concerts onSundays.
Compensation: $50-75 per hour, commensurate with experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, orfeel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly liftand/or move up to 40 pounds. The ability to see close, distance, and adjust focus are required. Stern Grove Festival (SGF or The Festival) is a beloved Bay-Area institution. It is one of the oldest and largest free music festivals in the country. Celebrating its 86 th year in 2023, The Festival’s mission is to make live musical experiences accessible to all. It does that through its ten-week summer Sunday concert series. These shows take place in a 10,000-person outdoor amphitheater in Sigmund Stern Grove on San Francisco’s west side. The Festival aims to present a diverse lineup every year, featuring national touring headlining acts, as well as artists from the rich Bay Area musical scene. Over 70,000 people attended in 2022 and recent performers include Phil Lesh & Friends, Toro y Moi, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Thievery Corporation, Ziggy Marley, Thundercat, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Mitski, The San Francisco Symphony, and many others.
