Coordinator, Music & Brand Partnerships
Description
- Field, vet, organize and maintain music clearance client prospects
- Process and negotiate music clearance quotes for broadcast and digital media
- Build and maintain internal status reports for clearance & payment tracking
- Digest, catalog, distill and circulate music content opportunities to sales and client services teams, identifying specific brand opportunities within same
- Store and ingest music content into BEN’s internal system to ensure content and brand KPIs are thoroughly tracked, producing Results Reports that serve new sales and upsell efforts
- Conduct latest industry/brand partnership research, producing regular recaps highlighting key strategy and sales takeaways
- Upkeep music sales decks with latest clearance and brand partnership capabilities
- Assist team with sales deck creation
- Review and digest new release / promotional emails from record label and publishing partners to flag emerging artists for relevant client campaigns, specific songs applicable to upcoming sync licensing / TikTok deals, and to extract/share general industry intelligence
- Provide administrative support around completion and proper storage of contracts and management of payments
- Maintain working knowledge of the music landscape including artist activity, key content producers, and emerging technologies and platforms
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of music clearance / copyright experience in an agency, label and/or management environment.
- Marketing, brand, and music entertainment experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, especially using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Google Docs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage complex and multiple assignments
- Understanding of marketing and branding principles with application toward a client’s business
- Ability to assist others to resolve problems quickly and productively
- Is always professional, empathetic and responsible in representing oneself and the broader team with clients, prospects, other employees, and in the business community. Maintains composure and productivity under pressure; integrates values into internal and external dealings
