THE JOB Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking a highly resourceful team player to bring their passion for live music and interest in creative research methodologies and data analysis as Senior Analyst of Fan Insights.
The Media & Sponsorship, Fan Insights team is tasked with empowering the overall organization and specifically, the sales team and our clients, with thought provoking insights - those that can help inspire creative partnerships and create competitive advantage. In an age where it’s harder than ever to reach Millennial/Gen Z in traditional manners, the team’s goal is to uncover insights that help Live Nation, and our partners differentiate amongst all types of media and entertainment and help our clients develop meaningful cultural connections with their consumers.
Live Nation Media & Sponsorship designs, sells, and manages the company’s national corporate sponsorship programs with the world’s most recognizable brands. It is an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation’s business including venues, festivals, ticketing, artists, content, media (digital, social, mobile), promotions, and concert production. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Support entire lifecycle of market research projects; includes recommending methodologies, designing thoughtful questionnaires, programming and launching surveys, monitoring fieldwork, identifying key audiences, and generating crosstabs
  • Distill information from vast data sets into digestible and actionable insights
  • Pull out key themes from qualitative research activities and open-ended responses in surveys
  • Leverage existing research to curate insights narratives for Sales and Integrated Marketing teams
  • Contribute to day-to-day admin of panel providers – work with vendors to design engagement activities including quick polls and Hub discussions, analyze results, and democratize key insights
  • Help manage recruitment for proprietary research panel – includes supervising email distribution and coming up with creative solutions to meet recruitment goals
  • Help democratize data throughout the organization and equip Sales, PR, and Solutions Development teams with information that is relevant to their business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years work experience in consumer insights, market research agency experience is preferable but not required
  • Experience writing surveys and qualitative research activities
  • Experience distilling large data sets into actionable insights
  • Must be comfortable working in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote
  • A creative problem solver who embraces new challenges
  • Ability to iterate quickly and adapt to the needs of the business in an agile fashion
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn new platforms and methodologies
  • Passionate about live music, media, and culture
  • COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.
