A&R, Regional Mexican
Description
In 2018, we established a global partnership with Rancho Humilde, and have since added various other marquee labels featuring artists such as Natanael Cano, Fuerza Regida, Legado 7, Carin Leon, Perdidos de Sinaloa, Marca Registrada, and many more. We are looking for someone who is a creative tactician and strong operator who will roll up their sleeves and work alongside department Vice President, A&R and other A&R’s to find the superstars of tomorrow. This person will be vital in the growth of this division at an exciting time for our company and will be expected to do quite a bit as we expand as we drive the business forward in many ways.
Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between the company and artist/label/management.
- Research new acts and sign talent.
- Aid clients, as needed, in creating great content.
- Facilitate collaborations with other clients and outside parties.
- Aid marketing in developing marketing strategies for clients.
- Liaise with Business & Legal Affairs throughout deal making process.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure needs of clients and business are met.
- Maintain a fast-paced schedule of releases and be able to simultaneously work on many projects, platforms and formats.
- Organization is a must have, not “nice to have.”
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) through various mediums (email, phone, text, and video).
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply knowledge gained in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in A&R/Creative at a music company.
- Extensive list of contacts in the genre.
- Track record of success with following procedures and meeting deadlines.
- Comfort in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Google business tools (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
