Video Production Intern
Description
- Assist video team with filming and editing video shoots (full band, product demos, etc)
- Film, edit, and post-produce social media videos using app software
- Collaborate with video and marketing teams to ensure videos align with brand voice and tone
- Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices for video content creation
- Maintain video equipment, including mobile devices, cameras, lighting, recording and sound equipment, and cleanliness/organization of studio
- Help out with any other duties and responsibilities for the video team as assigned
- Optional - Participate as on-screen talent in filming product demos, full-band performances, etc.
Requirements
- Experience filming with DSLR cameras and mobile phones
- Experience editing on mobile and computer based video editing software (we use Adobe Premiere and Final Cut)
- An understanding of basic filming and editing techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with posting video content on Instagram and TikTok
- Base knowledge of musical instruments - familiarity with brands, instrument types, etc.
- Passion for music
- Ability to work in a fluid environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Great communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to play guitar or other instrument and a willingness to perform on camera (preferred but not required)
- Experience filming with DSLR and mobile cameras
- Recording and editing of live performances
- General on set experience
- Video editing experience (both mobile and software)
- Lighting techniques and principles for video/film
- Experience collaborating with multiple teams to meet objectives and deadlines
- Experience coordinating, collaborating, and working with on screen talent
- On camera performance experience (optional)
Benefits & Perks
- Pay Rate: $15.80/hr
- Work location: CME store at 3316 N Lincoln Ave
- Work Hours: Part time, up to 20 hours a week. Flexible schedule. Shifts would occur during the week (Mon-Friday) between the hours of 9am and 6pm. On occasion, there may be opportunities to work weekend events occurring at the store that we want to film.
