Description

Live Nation is seeking a qualified Ticketing Manager to help manage ticket operations for its promoted shows in third-party venues. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience in various ticketing software, guest relations, and the ability to develop strong working relationships with artist management, senior executives, partners, and clients at all levels of an organization.
Responsibilities:
Event Management
  • Serve as ticketing point of contact and manage ticketing process for promoted shows in third-party venues in the region with a primary focus on locally booked content
  • Draft and distribute ticketing letters and show build instructions to venue box offices for all locally booked shows
  • Assist talent buyers, tour personnel and internal staff, as necessary, with event programming, reporting, ticket holds and other ticket details.
  • Work with Regional Ticketing team and talent buyers to develop initial scaling that maximizes potential revenue opportunity potential revenue opportunity
  • Partner with the talent buyers and venue box offices to monitor ticket sales trends and manage inventory throughout the sales cycle
  • Work with the Marketing, Production and Talent departments, artist management and label representatives to set-up events, place holds, process orders, and release tickets in a timely fashion
  • Maintain accurate box office accounting records and archives
Responsibilities for all Promoted Shows in Third-Party Venues
  • Process internal orders for all Live Nation-promoted shows in third-party venues within the region
  • Build, staff, and manage all third-party promoted shows where Live Nation ticketing functions as the box office
  • Assist third-party venue box office managers on show nights, as needed
  • Develop strong working relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure ticketing needs are met
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
  • 3-5 years as a Box Office Manager or representative
  • Proven track record of managing marquee events in large entertainment venues
  • Experience and proficiency with multiple Ticketing systems including, but not limited to, Ticketmaster, AXS, Eventbrite, Ticketweb, SeatGeek
  • Self-starter with a track record of taking ownership and successfully driving projects to completion
  • Flexible and reliable team player that can adapt to changes in a rapidly evolving work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a track record of building strong working relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Effective time-management skills and adept at juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure to meet strict and fluid deadlines
