Summer Graphic Design Intern
Description
- Concepting and design of marketing emails
- Creating and coordinate social media videos and posts, web assets, event flyers, and other multimedia
- Work on all aspects of the design process, including but not limited to mockups, typography, color, final product, etc.
- Assist with user research and usability testing to understand user experience and recognize design solutions
- Brainstorming and executing on innovative designs and concepts for marketing initiatives alongside the Graphic Designer
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a degree program for graphic design or apparel design
- Must be able to work out of DTLA office at least two days a week
- Must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a clear understanding of typography, layout, and color experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Must be an enthusiastic team player excited about pushing boundaries
- Motion graphics experience or are strong with brand building on Tik Tok is a plus
- Typical commitment is 10-16 hours per week
- Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
- Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
- Must be willing to travel to intern at events during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
