Sr. Manager Streaming
Description
- Conceptualizing and managing activations & promotional partnerships for BMG artists and working closely with marketing, repertoire, and business development teams on successful execution.
- Monitor release day placements, playlist adds, & daily streaming data for key BMG releases; and communicating these updates across internal teams
- Act as platform expert for BMG & our artists, providing insight into best practices, service updates, and relevant insights & trends
- Liase with global streaming team & repertoire teams on release planning & marketing initiatives
- Develop innovative approaches & playlist initiatives to grow revenue from the developing platforms to contribute to annual goals & KPIs, including for BMG’s catalogue division as well as BMG publishing
- Contribute insights & communicate strategies directly with artist management teams
Requirements
- Previous years of extensive experience in account management and/or music industry
- Understanding of licensing deals between labels & streaming services
- Knowledge of metadata & copyrights
- Familiarity with how music publishing works
- Creative thinker with the ability to craft structured & clear strategic proposals from creative ideas
- Proficient in analyzing data & extracting key actionable insights
- An understanding of how artists work and extremely capable in communicating effectively with artists & creative teams
- Ability to effectively communicate, align cross-functional teams, & provide leadership to colleagues in other markets to ensure successful execution of complex global initiatives
