**How we LEAD: ** Universal Music Group for Brands (UMGB) is currently looking for a Senior Manager of Digital Strategy to help us tell innovative, original, and award-winning stories with the world’s most exciting artists and consumer brands.
Our department’s digital strategy team is responsible for bringing our integrated campaigns to life through social content, online fan experiences, influencer marketing efforts, and paid media amplification. The ideal candidate will seamlessly keep brand KPIs front of mind in day-to-day storytelling while helping our artists share that story with their fans.
This role requires superior communication and management skills, attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is also key, as well as professionalism in collaborating with senior client teams and artist management alike.
How you’ll CREATE:
  • Act as the primary digital marketing expert for US and Europe brand partnership campaigns, leading social and digital storytelling across assigned campaigns
  • Help the team use social platforms in innovative ways to craft content and initiatives that engage audiences
  • Own social execution, compliance with brand and FTC guidelines, digital activation planning, and artist/client communication
  • Assist with media strategy and oversee amplification for brand campaigns, working with UMGB media ops team and relevant partners to execute spends with an eye towards overall partnership goals
  • Collaborate with UMG For Brands media leads and provide guidance on how UMG media products can support larger content programs, sync licensing deals, and more.
  • Oversee and evaluate influencer marketing efforts alongside our 1824 creative solutions team
  • Support new business pitches with digital and media strategy, including in-person presentations with prospective clients when necessary
  • Help improve systems for project management and reporting as it relates to digital and media strategy

Requirements

Bring your VIBE:
  • 3-5 years of prior digital marketing experience is required.
  • You are passionate about content marketing and have a strong working knowledge of digital marketing platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • You are highly skilled in building presentations and process documents using Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • You are a proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently and keen to learn new things.
  • You are a dependable team member that is comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • You are a thoughtful marketer who understands the value of thorough campaign reporting and analysis.
  • You are a skilled communicator with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships across a variety of internal & external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in client services/account management roles is preferred.
  • Prior experience in using CRM tools to build out HTML mailers is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Social/YouTube media buying or sales is preferred.
