Social Media Coordinator
Description
- Responsible for project coordination, working with the Sweetwater Marketing team and outside partners to successfully move projects along in order to meet deadlines
- Day-to-day maintenance and optimization of content calendar
- Assist with distributing content evenly throughout the day/week and optimizing its performance on each social media platform
- In charge of database management and ensuring that our content management system/database is accurate and up to date
- You will be responsible for some copywriting, creating posts based on creative briefs, ensuring that copy is both effective and on brand
- Execute community engagement initiatives, including assisting with customer reviews, customer service, and identifying any issues that require elevation
- Work to develop an understanding of social media best practices and constantly seek to optimize our content across all platforms while maintaining production efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, Management, Business, or related field
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams Etc.)
- 0-3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Marketing Coordination, or related field
- Experience with Social Media Marketing and related concepts preferred
- Experience with project management software such as AirTable, JIRA, Sprout, Hootsuite, Falcon, or other is preferred
- Any background or knowledge with music gear or instruments is always a plus
