Social Media Coordinator
Description
- Pitch and execute content creation across Hypebae’s social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, YouTube Shorts and Facebook).
- Shoot and edit high-quality video content.
- Oversee daily posting schedules, ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Monitor trends and audience insights to optimize content performance.
- Work closely with the editorial team to translate their features, interviews and larger trend pieces into engaging social posts.
- Track, analyze and report on key performance metrics to refine social strategies.
- Be the voice of Hypebae for our community, regularly engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering a strong digital community.
- Stay up to date with social media best practices and emerging trends in digital publishing.
- Ensure breaking news and viral content is posted in a timely manner.
- Research strategies to optimize our social media platforms.
- Liaising with PR and brands to secure exclusive social opportunities including takeovers interviews and more.
Requirements
- Ability to develop and execute effective social media strategies.
- Well-spoken and articulate in English, possess excellent oral communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Premiere Pro/Capcut.
- Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.
- Strong visual eye, style and storytelling.
- Attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and audience behaviors.
- Excellent organizational, time and priority management skills.
