Mick is an artist management company and record label with offices in Brooklyn, Nashville and Los Angeles. Our roster includes Leon Bridges, Carly Rae Jepsen, Maggie Rogers, Ray LaMontagne, Caamp, Sharon Van Etten and The Backseat Lovers. We are looking for a Social Marketing Coordinator to join the team immediately. The position is salaried with full benefits. Candidates based in LA will be given priority.
**About the role: **
The Social Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the management and marketing teams to develop creative social media strategy and is responsible for executing the plan on behalf of the entire roster. Under the supervision of the Head of Digital Strategy and Fan Engagement, the Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the social media calendar, drafting suggested copy, formatting assets, obtaining approvals, and posting.
Requirements
The right person for the job is creative, detail-oriented and has excellent organizational and analytical skills. This person “lives online”; they are more than just aware of the most viral trends on TikTok, they are culture-obsessed and an early adopter. They should be very familiar with the web3, crypto and NFT spaces and genuinely curious about developing platforms.
To be considered, candidates must have:
- at least one to two years of professional experience in social marketing, preferably in the music industry
- considerable experience executing marketing strategy on all major social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Clubhouse, Discord, Twitch, YouTube etc.
- extensive experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere (i.e. can make edits to assets without assistance)
- experience writing copy for social posts
