Shooter/Editor, Video Production – SiriusXM
Description
- Executes video production and post-production for live in-studio and off-site content captures, digital exclusives, direct-to-cameras, and different content capture requests.
- Collaborates with various departments and teams involved in video production requests to ensure effective communication and deliver high-quality productions on time and within budget.
- Contributes to the development of content strategies for video and digital assets, taking into consideration the target audience, platform-specific requirements, and marketing goals.
- May collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that the produced content is optimized for various digital channels and aligned with the overall company strategy.
- Edits own video content as well as content shot by others. Should have experience with sound design, audio mixing, color correcting, and editing specs for different content and delivery platforms.
- Executes and collaborates with editors and post-production teams to ensure that the final product meets the creative vision and is delivered on time.
- Oversees the backup, uploads, and delivery of all raw and edited video footage. Archives and retrieves footage requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel required to shoot and edit off-site events and content captures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience. 3 or more years or professional experience editing in Adobe Premiere (Creative Cloud), DSLR and traditional videography, preferably for a media and/or entertainment company.
- Experience editing video in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Shooting video with Digital Cine Cameras, and traditional video camera in challenging environments.
- Social video editing – Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Editing in Adobe Cloud, including After Effects.
- Shooting video with Canon C300, C400, C80 and C70
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
