Our growing Artist & Label Relations team is seeking a Senior Artist & Label Relations Representative. In this role, you will be tasked with managing a portfolio of new and existing artists and labels and ensuring that your clients are consistently receiving the maximum value from our product and services. Connecting with artists and labels at various levels, building valuable relationships and asking strategic questions is something that comes naturally to you. You are excited to foster meaningful and lasting customer partnerships that keep users engaged.
The role will require interaction with artists, labels, and managers at various stages in their career and various levels of seniority. A successful Senior Artist & Label Relations Representative will set realistic expectations with their clients, deliver on those expectations, and ask the necessary questions to ensure that we are taking the actions required to retain and grow their business.
This role is full-time and fully remote, with occasional in-person get-togethers for which we cover travel / lodging for out-of-town employees.

What you'll do:
  • Act as the first point of contact, assist with the day-to-day management of clients/label accounts through Stem’s platform and cross-functional processes throughout the organization
  • Foster relationship of key accounts via email, text, calls, in person meetings
  • Serve as the Stem platform/digital distribution expert for the client; perform video product demonstrations and familiarize new and existing clients and/or their representatives with the various functions and features of the platform
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day release needs (metadata, release updates, platform bugs and general questions)
  • Proactively identify customer issues and potential churn, and take preventative action
  • Help independent musicians stay independent, by bringing fintech to music!

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a support or client success role in the music distribution space
  • Broad understanding of digital distribution / landscape
  • Personable and effective communicatorHigh level of attention to detail and solution oriented mindset
  • Willingness to work within the parameters of an artist's release schedule
  • Comfortable working under pressure
  • Knows how to prioritize tasks and projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Love for music/knowledgeable about the industry
  • Technical proficiency and ability to learn systems quickly
It's a bonus if you have:
  • Experience working with high touch artists and releases
  • Understands DSP style guides
  • Experience working with iTunes Connect, YouTube Creator Studio, Facebook Rights Manager, MediaMatch, Spotify for Artists, and other content management systems. YouTube certification is a plus

The salary range for this job is $68,000 to $75,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include equity, benefits, and any other compensatory components of the role.
