Script Coordinator
Description
Responsibilities:
- Create, revise and distribute all pertinent show documents for entire production staff
- Keep fast paced control room environment organized and informed
- Deal with a significant amount of script revisions in a very limited time frame
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- 1+ years experience working in News or other similar fast-paced live broadcast deadline environment
- 2+ years experience in Television Production
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Final Draft and Scriptation
- Must commit to entire season and be ready and available to work long hours and weekends
- References from previous employers required
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Desired Characteristics:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in television, Journalism or Communications preferred
- Knowledge of iNews computer-based television Production Program
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be organized
- Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize in very busy situations
- Demonstrate good “people skills” in order to interact with co-workers and producers
- Strong Grammar skills, accurate spelling and neat, clear handwriting a must

- Hourly salary range: $17.50 - $20.00
- The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours.
