Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue for Firebird Music and its partner companies within the highly competitive and evolving music industry landscape. This cross-functional role requires a highly organized, strong communicator who can track, direct, and analyze outreach and sales efforts to reach business goals. The ideal candidate will have experience establishing and maintaining processes to maximize opportunities and customer relationships, including managing and implementing CRM tools, maintaining and reporting KPIs related to sales, and quarterbacking efforts across a wide range of teams, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including sales planning, client identification, customer profiling, sales collateral development, outreach coordination, and performance analysis
  • Implement efficient sales processes and workflows to support C-Level executives and cross-functional business development efforts
Systems Development:
  • Lead the implementation and customization of a CRM platform, providing guidance, training and support to team members
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales and business development efforts across the company
Market Analysis and Insights:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in the music and entertainment industry
  • Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making and business development efforts
  • Continually monitor the music landscape to help develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify new opportunities and expand market reach
Revenue Growth Initiatives:
  • Lead initiatives to drive revenue growth, focusing on building a larger sales funnel, relationship development, and monetization/conversion strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team at Firebird to develop compelling offerings for artists and artist managers

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations within the media and entertainment and/or tech industries, preferably with an exposure to or focus on the music sector
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience working as a liaison between cross-functional teams and keeping all relevant stakeholders informed
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools, with experience building processes and systems from scratch
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Strong understanding of music industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behavior
  • Passion for music and entertainment with a deep appreciation for various genres and trends
