Description

Noise Pop Industries seeks an experienced and hungry sales associate to drive revenue and growth across multiple lines of business.
The Sales Associate will pursue revenue opportunities with a focus on DoTheBay and Noise Pop Presents-branded public events as well as the WHTLBL private-label consulting services business, and will report to the Head of Business Development.
NPI encompasses the live events promotion activities of Noise Pop Presents, the digital advertising business for leading nightlife and entertainment site DoTheBay.com, all the public-facing events and shows we undertake to produce and market ourselves, from the flagship Noise Pop Festival and large-scale events like 20th Street Block Party to the club concerts we promote at partner venues around the Bay. WHTLBL business includes all work done on behalf of or in conjunction with other parties such as the Cal Academy Nightlife series, SF Park Alliance’s Sundown Cinema or Fort Mason FLIX.
DoTheBay is the Bay Area edition of DoStuff, a national network of local media properties that help 90 million people a year answer "What are we going to DO tonight?"
You’ll be supporting and selling DoTheBay to local businesses and brands who need an authentic local voice to help them reach 21-35-year-olds through branded content, partnerships, experiential, influencer engagement & media.
You’ll be supported by DoStuff’s team in San Francisco and the other great people at DoStuff cities around the country.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Support the Head of Business Development by -
  • Prospect and build targeted lists across local & regional business verticals.
  • Refine all sales materials as required.
  • Sell integrated campaigns to local & regional businesses/brands looking to make an impact in our market.
  • Collaborate with local businesses to create custom programs to meet their business needs.
  • Manage an effective CRM
  • Develop sales proposals and contracts.
  • Establish timeline and brand targets for sponsorship goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their campaigns are a success and develop further on-going business.
  • Hit aggressive monthly, quarterly & annual sales quotas.
  • Manage onsite sponsorship fulfillment at events
  • Generate recap reports

Requirements

  • Basic experience in sales
  • Minimum two years sales experience.
  • Strong budgeting and spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Google Apps Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
  • Technical fluency with social media platforms, digital advertising, ticketing platforms, etc.
  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Entertainment, Marketing or relevant field
  • Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for the Bay Area music and arts culture landscape
