Recruiter
Description
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting for positions including: posting, sourcing, screening, presenting candidates, interviewing and negotiating offers
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions, hiring criteria and interview questions
- Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified active and passive candidates by proactively using creative sourcing strategies, both internally & externally, to identify and attract competitive candidates. This can be done via LinkedIn, college & external job boards, community network events, referrals, internal employees, online resources, etc.
- Conduct in-depth phone screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, and compensation requirements
- Develop a pipeline of hard to find passive talent based on business needs and employee value proposition
- Manage the candidate experience through seamless execution of the interview process to ensure a superior candidate experience
- Partner with Compensation and HR Business Partners to understand the compensation structure and develop offers in line with that structure
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Ensure that applicant dispositioning is maintained and accurate for EEO and Affirmative Action Reporting
- Build strong relationships with the various line and functional clients to ensure ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process
- Build relationships with Sony sister company recruitment teams worldwide
- Attend and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of lifecycle recruiting experience
- Knowledge of HR principles and reporting is helpful
- Experience with Workday or other similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Must be responsive and focused on the quality of hire while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet all client needs
- Ability to work well with others as a team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Must be organized and have strong attention to detail and follow up skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
