Promotions Manager
Description
- Define project scope, goals, timelines and deliverables that support business and brand goals in collaboration with sponsors and activate accordingly.
- Effectively communicate expectations and manage required assets with team members and clients.
- Copywriting for promotional materials, microsites, and/or social posts; adhering to brand guidelines and legal policy.
- Work closely with brand management teams, digital developers, legal, ticketing, finance, fan support, and sponsors to produce promotional programs.
- Analyze and recap promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion and advertising campaigns.
- Detailed project tracking including budgets, participation and product redemption rates, and invoicing.
- Digital platform QA and quality control per assigned project.
- Identify and manage project dependencies including conflict resolution and contingency plans.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the promotion.
- Perform other duties as needed and directed by the Brand Promotions VP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years’ project management experience, preferably with promotional based projects.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-volume, high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and detailed oriented.
- Copywriting experience for online and/or social content.
- Strong understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to learn new software tools.
- Must be creative and have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels of an organization.
- Solution and team oriented while demonstrating the ability to work independently and adapt to changes in a rapid development environment.
- Understanding of promotional legal requirements highly desired.
- COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.
