Project Manager, Platform
Description
We are looking to add a Project Manager for the Utopia Platform. As Project Manager you will have responsibility for delivering the value from the multiple opportunities through effective project management.
Working with your colleagues across the Utopia Platform, you will be responsible for the success of our Utopia collaborative project deliveries and their contribution to the overall Utopia strategic objectives. To accomplish this you will lead, coordinate and deliver on cross-company projects that are dependent on the data and services of the Utopia Platform and aspiring to bring to market best in class services worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of projects where the Platform will contribute to the overall success of Utopia Music
- Define and manage required deliverables, “definition of done”, and success metrics of the project outcomes.
- Coordinate with the various stakeholders and domain experts, and ensure the right level of communication is provided.
- Identify and remove blockers to the success of the project outcomes
- Reporting to Utopia Music’s Platform VP, you will, together with your team and peers across design, data, engineering and business
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have prior experience delivering projects in a product company, in a consumer software or SaaS environment. Most importantly, they will possess a strong inner drive to work with music industry professionals, engineers, designers, product and data professionals to ensure our project work is delivered with the highest quality, while being a part of something unique that will have a lasting impact on the whole music industry.
Requirements:
- 6+ years professional experience; including 4+ years in project management
- Proven success driving project deliveries in a scaling product organization
- A strong history of relationship building and collaboration with Engineering, Data, Design and Business organizations
- Ability to lead and establish effective working relationships across a complex environment spanning multiple geographies
- Possesses an intuitive grasp of the small but crucial details that elevate project success
- Collaborative orientation
- Exceptional communication skills
- Passion for the music creators and the problems that can be solved within the music industry
- Advanced degree in relevant field or highly relevant experience in lieu of education
- Direct experience in the music tech industry
