Production Manager
Description
- Develop and manage budgets for Peacock, Netflix, and third-party production projects, including pre & post show specials (shoulder programming).
- Utilize Excel and Movie Magic Budgeting software to effectively track and oversee show budgets.
- Collaborate with production, finance, and accounting on monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and accruals.
- Create and assign unique budget codes to maintain organized financial records.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new vendors within our accounts payable system.
- Spearhead project and shoot logistics, including budget creation and freelance crew hiring.
- Process and approve crew invoices and manage talent payments in a timely manner.
- Assist with documentation and inquiries related to insurance applications for productions (for ex. certificates of insurance).
- Oversee the management of the company purchasing card (p-card), ensuring proper organization of receipts and monthly reconciliation utilizing Concur.
- Supervise a Production Coordinator to ensure that goals and expectations are being met.
- Assist and guide Production Coordinator in managing shoots by aiding in sourcing crews, booking travel, requesting talent, ordering equipment, and preparing call sheets.
Requirements
- Experience in production management, particularly within the media or entertainment industry.
- Strong financial background with experience in budgeting and cost tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Movie Magic Budgeting software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
