Production Assistant
Description
- Responsible for tracking and communicating with various internal and external stakeholders on contracts, payments, invoices, calendars and schedules for Productions Talent Management and the Productions team.
- Responsible for being the Productions Talent representative on Rockettes activations in the venue and off-site including appearances, special events, and Dancer Development programming.
- Accountable for a cursory understanding of labor rules and the specific parameters of each activation when assigned to be the representative for any Radio City Productions/Rockettes activations.
- Role will need to be aware of all dry clean schedules and potential wardrobe scheduling conflicts, earmark and alert the necessary parties including Productions Talent, requesting department, and RCMH staff with any conflicts or changes.
- Tasked with making sure the on-duty RCMH wardrobe representative as well as any corresponding building operations partner is made aware of changes that affect preparation and scheduling of Rockettes activations.
- Create simplified production reporting for Rockettes activations with operational and budgetary insights.
- Develop understanding of Rockettes activations to assist all related departments in preparing for events, appearances, and programming.
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks while under tight deadlines and financial constraints.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays in addition to working regular afternoon/evening shifts.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must be highly responsive to emergencies in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary.
- Must have the ability to work independently when necessary and use sound business judgment.
- Experience in logistics in the live entertainment or sports environment or similar industry.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. without difficulty
- Must be flexible to schedule some shifts around the constantly changing production schedule
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel (basic formulas & formatting)
