About the Team
The TikTok Australia team drives all things content, culture and creativity for the platform across Australia and New Zealand. We look after everything from our content creators and the communities that exist, to content programming and harnessing the next hot trends, to working with our music community and local artists on the platform. This role will also support many of our cross functional teams including communications, public policy and marketing, to help drive our platform to be the creative and joy-inspiring world our users love.
Your Role
As a PMO (Project Management Office) for TikTok Australia & New Zealand, you'll be a key person planning and driving projects for our business operations function. You'll be an invaluable resource for the team, doing everything from assisting with strategic planning initiatives & helping to navigate TikTok's impressive growth to taking ownership of the calendar for our team, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, and helping to organise innovative, impactful projects. This is the role for you if you are passionate about cross-functional project management, tracking metrics for success and organising important information. You will be expected to work with minimal guidance, take action on urgent priorities, and act with a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Assist with strategic planning initiatives, business review sessions
- Planning, organising, and coordinating with business leaders on crafting agenda, consolidating content, facilitating meetings and follow-up action items
- Support the scheduling and action plans of Australia & NZ strategic business and partner reviews (e.g. bi-monthly Business Reviews.)
- Coordinate with teams to prepare slide decks and other major presentations/events
- Proactively identify issues, areas of enhancement that provide value-added insights and lead/implement strategic initiatives.
- Admin support for Australia & NZ team Operations Management
- Support and represent cross-functional engagement by creating reports, communications decks and proactively sharing and presenting Ops metrics with the wider business.
- Present Operation Performance Metrics in Weekly Business Reviews.
- Advise, coordinate and track Global Operations Management team bi-monthly OKRs.
- Serve as liaison between leaders, staff, and cross functional stakeholders regarding company projects, planning, and meetings
- Coordinating team travel and expense management
Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience, including 1+ in a fast-paced technology company.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, management or similar
- Highly organised, strong problem-solving skills, confident and self-motivated individual that is equally comfortable supporting junior team members and communicating with c-suite staff
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and help drive programs to improve business performance
- Experience building relationships with cross-functional teams and delivering impact through communication
- Project experience in a data-driven decision-making environment.
- Able to think analytically, and decipher data and metrics to track success
- Respect for and desire to learn from other cultures

The annual base salary for this role is between $80,000 - $100,000 AUD
