Strategic Responsibility:
We are looking for an experienced and driven leader to boost our growing demand in the UK market. As a New Business Development Director in our UK office and broader global team, you will play a critical cross-departmental leadership role in identifying and developing partnerships, creative opportunities, and new business strategies that expand revenue, reach, and impact for Integrity Music and our roster of artists and songwriters.
Further, working closely with the Commercial Partnerships, Marketing, A&R, and Publishing team, you will secure and build mutually-beneficial relationships with key brands and ministries, with an emphasis on expanding opportunities and developing new business. Likewise, you will be involved in expanding Integrity's Integrated Music Rights (IMR) business in the UK, including prospecting, acquiring, and fostering relationships with independent artists and ministries aligned with Integrity's mission, vision, and values.
We are seeking someone who understands UK and European culture and the dynamics and nuances of the Christian Worship community and artist/songwriter relations. Leading with a proven track record in business development and armed with unique artist insights, you'll build relationships with some of the most exciting artists, songwriters, ministries, and brands on a range of unique opportunities.
Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an overall business plan & strategy and overseeing its implementation
  • Prospect, acquire, and develop independent artists for Integrity's Integrated Music Rights (IMR)
  • Work closely with the global and marketing teams, as well as A&R to engage potential partners, define the scope of the relationship, identify profitable opportunities, negotiate transactions, and manage the implementation within the organization
  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with Integrity Music's global strategy
  • Identify key partners and structure, lead and/or support negotiations and close partnership deals
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities including brand marketing deals, touring, social media, PR campaigns, digital platforms, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing decision-makers at ad agencies and brands in the UK/EU
  • Provide regular reporting of business status and deals
  • Interface with our Legal team to ensure the feasibility of deals
  • Demonstrate ability to execute projects and deliver results
  • Provide additional ways for Integrity Music to meet and increase its operating income goals through new forms of revenue

Requirements

Position Requirements:
Formal Education: Bachelors Degree in business or marketing. Comparable experience of 7+ years directly related to the role will be considered in lieu of Bachelors Degree
Experience: 5+ years of marketing or business development experience required. Previous experience in the music industry preferred; Christian/Gospel marketplace experience is a plus
Specialized Knowledge/Certification:
  • You'll have proven business development experience in music, creative or talent-led agencies.
  • A track record for procuring talent or creating new business.
  • You are highly organized, hard-working with a commercial mindset.
  • You are a self-starter, who can work well within a small and fast-moving team.
  • You are great with people, can build rapport and understand brand challenges.
  • You deal well with pressure and have the ability to multi-task.
  • You are thorough and have strong attention to detail.
  • You are a collaborative and natural team player.
  • You have experience with Keynote, PowerPoint, and similar tools and know how to build and deliver high-impact presentations.
  • A genuine passion for music, brands, and culture.
  • Equipment/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office for iOS. Mac computers and software. Asana. General office equipment
