Music M&A Onboarding Manager
Description
- Ensure successful onboarding process of an acquired record label, recording catalog and/or other rights.
- Ensure technical re-distribution of sound recordings, takeover of income streams and proper set up of portals, payments.
- Manage the onboarding process from closing of an acquisition to hand off of the account
- Ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks by M&A, distribution, DRM, data, finance, and provide visible updates / reports
- Perform and own the audit function (of onboarding) to ensure all assets are taken over and all income streams are taken over
- Work closely with the M&A team and ensure successful execution across various departments including distribution, digital rights management, publishing, data and finance.
- Manage effective communication with other stakeholders across the company
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Previous experience with music metadata, rights
- Previous technical experience with digital distribution and digital rights (YT, Socials)
- Ability to be highly organized and manage multiple projects with priority
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with staff of all levels across various departments
- Previous experience in PMP or experience preferred
