As a Music Gear Consultant, you will spend the majority of your time reaching out to and connecting with customers to build relationships, improve customer experiences, and increase customer's lifetime value.
Our Music Gear Consultants, internally known as a Gear Advisor, provide world-class sales support and customer service to assigned portfolios of musicians. You will be responsible for managing all facets of the customer experience through all contact channels chat/email/inbound and outbound phone call. You are front and center to the success of our business and provide our customers with the best buying experience possible ensuring repeat customers.
As our Music Gear Consultant, you will:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients who interact with the business via web and phone orders
  • Leverage the Salesforce platform to manage client relations, communications, sales activity and outreach
  • Be responsible for daily outbound calls to existing books of business, and create relationships with new potential clients
  • Be responsible for metric performance in the areas of sales, service, call handling, and quality standards
  • Have ongoing exposure to instrument and product knowledge through vendor and in-house trainings
  • Provide a best in class customer service experience to all clients through learned skills in order management, product inquiries, cross selling, troubleshooting, company financing options, , account status, and marketing promotions
  • Summarize each interaction to customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain timely follow-up with customers as outlined by management
  • Execute special projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Relevant work experience in similar sales-based environments
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must reside in the state Tennessee
Preferences:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Music Business or similar programs
  • Music industry experience in retail sales or as a musician, some gear/product knowledge
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven, self-motivated, dedicated, organized, enthusiastic, engaged musicians or non-musicians
  • Bilingual-Spanish
