Music Analyst Intern

- Researching and listening to a large amount of music across multiple music platforms.
- Constantly analysing current micro and macro trends on the main digital streaming platforms (Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music etc.) to understand how to benefit from these platforms for improving artists’ performances.
- Scouting of potential collaborators for the implementation of digital strategies (e.g. Playlists Curators, Social Media Influencers, Music Bloggers etc.) and maintaining relationships with them.
- Studying the mechanism of new emerging platforms with a potential impact on artists’ growth (e.g. Tiktok).
- Using our proprietary platform to gather and analyse data on artists' performances.
- Working with the development team to improve and automate the working processes.
- Testing and learning new methods and approaches to develop new business opportunities.
- Execute new business strategies, ad monitor impact
Requirements
- Good knowledge of the main DSP's, especially Spotify and its mechanisms (editorials playlists, algorithmic playlists, Spotify for Artist etc).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheet.
- Previous experience in the music industry (e.g. labels, DSP's, Digital Marketing) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role.
- English Spoken fluently is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great organisational skills.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Great execution skills, taking action and measuring impact of new strategies and tests.
- Ability to identify “great tracks” from many different genres is a super plus!
