Description

  • Drive adoption of Megaphone and Spotify Audience Network in France
  • Work with leading podcast publishers to develop new business on the Megaphone platform and Spotify Audience Network.
  • Deep understanding of French publisher landscape, ability to understand customer needs, present & demo Megaphone hosting & ad server technology, and sell Spotify’s Audience Network.
  • Manage deal life cycles across a range of publisher prospects to inform, follow-through and close business for Megaphone and the Spotify Audience Network.
  • Communicate market trends and industry shifts, including implications and recommendations, to internal and external business partners.
  • Effectively engage and communicate with internal business partners, including Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Sales and Marketing.
  • Analyse competitors and recommend strategies.
  • Support wider efforts of the Publisher Solutions team.

Requirements

  • Honesty and integrity – getting the last penny out of every deal isn’t a requirement but dealing fairly and honestly with every partner is.
  • Deep understanding of technology and proficient at demonstrating the Megaphone product.
  • Rolls up their sleeves and does any job necessary to help grow the business.
  • Demonstrates passion for the podcast industry and understands how podcasts are created, consumed and make money.
  • Likes being part of a team and is adept at building strong working relationships across business functions (i.e., Technology, Sales, Marketing and Finance).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4+ years of sales, business development experience; consumer technology, start up, ad-tech or digital media sales, preferred
  • Maintain and mine a lead database to build rapport through the sales life cycle.
  • Track, organise and update multiple sales cycles through SalesForce
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Proficient at reading, understanding and negotiating contracts.
  • Speak French as a Native language / excellent Business English practice
