ABOUT US:
Production Club is a multidisciplinary team of badasses inventing, designing and producing music-based parties, shows, and experiences worldwide. We’re hiring a contract media manager to work on an event with a global tech client. You’ll support media distribution for a large-scale annual conference while collaborating with an international, hybrid team of dope creatives and producers.
JOB SUMMARY:
As the freelance media manager, you’ll be an integral part of Production Club’s creative services team for a ~5 month contract. You will work alongside project leads, creative producers, motion designers and a creative director to lead project management across multiple motion graphics deliveries from concept to execution.
Types of projects will include short animations for the small in-house screens to the creation of large motion graphics files for in-person viewing on a variety of custom screen builds and sizes. You must be familiar with the creative and technical processes and workflow of graphic and motion design, as well as what it takes to see a project through creative approvals, on-site testing with media vendors and programmers, as well as management of timelines, resources, and files throughout the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owns all project management related to supporting project motion deliverables, including on-site media management and collaboration with video programmers
- Timely management of all motion graphics related deliveries to event vendors
- Maintain a clear and concise database of delivery needs and file specs, both internal and external facing
- Working with the lead producers and creative director to; outline the assets required, including content inclusion, final delivery specs, and managem the timing of all internal and external deadlines
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with the team, and take a proactive approach to executing successful projects
- Attend project meetings, capture and share feedback and decisions, and follow up on action items with key stakeholders, as related to the motion graphics creation, testing, exports, delivery, and implementation across the event campus
- Communicate with project leads on a daily basis in regards to information needs, approval timeframes, and project statuses
- Coordinate with external motion design freelancers, media vendors, and partners as needed
- Responsible for recording clear and concise meeting notes for all vendor calls
- Responsible for all on-site testing, and management of media along with vendor partners, ensuring all files are delivered to spec, on time, and QC’d prior to the event start
- Ensures smooth workflows between Production Club and all vendor partners
- Maintains close eye on major media installs watching for any potential issues or changes needed
- Able to manage multiple, concurrent deliverables with clear communication and ease
Requirements
MUST-HAVES:
- Experience working in large-scale event production with multiple stakeholders ranging from internal creative directors to client creative teams and executives to various vendors and venue teams
- Previous experience managing motion/working with motion artists including: motion workflow, trafficking, insight into industry/motion trends, client and vendor management and knowledge of A/V systems utilized in large video installations
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities and can maintain a high level of organization and follow through via clear communication
- Proactive, positive and dependable approach to getting sh*t done
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid/remote environment
- Technical competencies include a clear understanding of media servers, large scale video installations, transcoding, render farms, etc., Google Suite, Airtable (or similar), Excel, Slack, Dropbox, Box
- Physical abilities some travel (less than 20% of the year), ability to work long hours during event week + load-in (~10 days), ability to move easily through crowded venues

- Fluent in Dutch and/or Spanish
