THE OPPORTUNITY We are in need of a hands-on media manager who can drive sales and user growth through paid media channels. This role sits on the performance marketing team, and will be responsible for the daily management of our ads, go-to-market strategy and execution, and continuing to innovate and improve the channels they work on. You are expected to actively contribute to the development of new ideas and assist with the continued automation of these key paid performance channels.
We are looking for a candidate who is numbers-savvy, innovative, and has a strong attention to detail. A desire to work in the fast-paced environment of live events is a must, as well as a love of all things sports, music, and theater. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to inform decisions, and comfortable being an owner of their work. We are focused on providing a best-in-class customer experience, and you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal through our paid channels.
Job Responsibilities
  • Actively manage in-platform media buying across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.)
  • Run A/B tests on channels to enhance performance and gather valuable insights
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for key landscape moments in our business (ex. Super Bowl, NBA Playoffs, The Masters, etc.) and work cross-functionally to ensure marketing messaging is cohesive cross-channel
  • Measure and report on performance of channels, deriving insights to continually improve the program's performance
  • Develop new creative strategies alongside studio team to bring fresh concepts to life in ads, and assist with creative and copy refreshes
  • Have an eye for what "thumb-stopping" content looks like, specifically on social channels
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects at one time
  • Be a steward of and maintain the StubHub brand in all creative

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience at an agency or in-house media buying role, ideally across multiple platforms
  • Numbers and metrics obsessed, with strong handle on measuring click and view-based channels, incrementality, etc.
  • Comfort with important KPIs and knowledge of how they influence performance (ROAS, CTR, CVR, CPC, CPM, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office + Google Suite, specifically using advanced formulas in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in ecommerce preferred, marketplace (buyer and seller) is a plus
  • Strong team player that has a professional demeanor and is innovative, collaborative and a great communicator
  • An exceptional attention to detail
  • Mobile first campaign experience
  • Knowledgeable of channel best practices
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and well versed in sports, theater and concerts
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in SQL is preferred
