Marketing Specialist (temp)
Description
- Manage CMA Fest daytime and nighttime stage screens content for 8 stages
- Build and manage rundowns for every set break on every stage
- Track and deliver contractual sponsor obligations
- Manage stage screens content vendor(s)
- Create/edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop
- Collaborate with stage managers and other event production staff on instructions for video with audio content versus graphic content
- Lead on-site oversight and troubleshooting
- Support social media marketing efforts
- Run digital advertising campaigns to boost organic social media impressions, reach and engagement
- Draft copy for social media content
- Participate in content ideation and brainstorming
- Help capture and publish content to channels during CMA Fest event
- Real-time marketing support and fan engagement during CMA Fest TV special
- Participate in customer service
- Communicate key event logistics information to key stakeholders (info booths, box office,
- receptionist, social media team, etc.)
- Attend info booth and box office temp staff training session
- Check in with info booths frequently throughout event
- Administrative tasks as assigned to support the entire Marketing and Creative team
- Organizing credential, parking and meal needs
- Load-in designated work rooms on-site
- Load-in fan prizing
- Distribute merch orders to staff and crews
- Schedule meetings; Order meals
- Track budget actual & projected expenses
Requirements
- Experience in marketing, advertising, digital, and/or event production in the music industry or related field
- Preferred experience with managing digital advertising campaigns
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and their backend management interfaces
- Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and its suite products including Photoshop; Familiarity
- with Canva
- Experience using WordPress and/or other website content management systems (CMS)
- Working knowledge of digital streaming platforms
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and its suite of products including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive,
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in either a team or individually
- Must have strong written communication and proofreading/edits skills
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts, terms and general practices and willingness to learn more
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, detail-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, reorganize and adapt to change
- Ability to utilize independent judgement in areas of responsibility
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to work select evenings and weekends
- Typically sitting at a desk or table
- Occasional lifting of light objects (less than 24 pounds)
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25 to 50 pounds
- Work is typically performed in an office
