The Marketing Partnerships and Event Marketing Analyst will play an important support function within the team. This position works closely with the Director, Vendor Partnerships and the Manager, Event Marketing to assist in the execution and measurement of marketing plans designed to drive omni-channel traffic, customer acquisition and awareness as well as vendor participation and sponsorship for the Guitar Center Brand.
Responsibilities:
- Proofing of marketing materials/assets, Track and report on campaign KPIs/Metrics
- Input/maintain campaign & tactic tickets, ensure and track execution of tactics on all platforms
- Coordination/communication with cross-functional teams
- Vendor activations and vendor specific events, in-store and online including, but not limited to talent appearances, workshops, Store-in-Store, and demos in conjunction with Partnership Marketing and Category Marketing Managers
- Develop and maintain the national event calendar in coordination with the Director, Marketing Partnerships, in support of overall omni-channel brand objectives
- Drive local event strategy and guidance
- Create criteria for local store / RVP event investments that:
  • Benefits the overall sales accomplishment of the store
  • Drives traffic / new customers
  • Aligns with local social media strategy
  • Create general activation tool kits and Do's / Don'ts
- Build and maintain ongoing communications with business Oversee creative and content development in support of all events and grand openings, working closely with internal partners including creative, content and social, media, marketing operations, brand teams and store operations / e-commerce teams to ensure integrated messaging and materials
- Constantly monitor event activities' sales achievement and recommend strategies to positively affect outcomes and improve efficacy of event spending
- Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or Events
  • Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Ability to acquire work/travel documents (i.e., passport and visa) as required by various countries.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience).
  • Strong MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills required
  • Organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are a must-have
