This individual will be a member of the consumer marketing technical operations team and will be responsible for leveraging marketing management technologies and tools used to oversee vendor budgets, invoicing processes, vendor onboarding, statements of work, contracts, etc. They will ensure that the organization has the right tools, operational support and resources necessary to execute campaigns effectively across all channels.
The ideal candidate will blend strong data skills with a keen business analytics sense, and exhibit strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Product, Martech, Analytics and outside vendors to ensure delivery of tools and services needed by owned, brand, partner and performance media teams by managing project prioritization and bug/feature request tickets
  • Continually evaluate third-party and internal tools and services to aid the automation, optimization and coordination of performance, brand, partner and owned media channels
  • Monitor, validate, and troubleshoot inbound and outbound data processes that are feeding and being generated from third-party and internal marketing systems and vendors such as Airship, ActionIQ, Adobe, Branch.io, DCM, Impact Radius, media buying agencies, MMM vendors using SQL
  • Manage and coordinate trackable URL generation across all channels, enforcing naming conventions to increase tracking and reporting efficiency
  • Monitor and manage relationship with key email and push vendors, ensuring campaigns are executed as planned and that we maintain best practices around user engagement and deliverability
  • Manage RFP, onboarding and day-to-day operational relationship with all third-party marketing system vendors
  • Manage and make recommendations for optimal timing and sequencing of campaigns across channels, partners, placements, products and creative concepts to deliver optimal performance
  • Partner with analytics to develop monitoring dashboards and alerts to aid the rapid discovery and remediation of inbound/outbound data flow and any other campaign execution problems
  • Assist marketing team efforts to ensure Pandora’s marketing stays in compliance with regulatory changes, including but not limited to changes in consumer privacy laws

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: BA/BS in Business, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in marketing operations
Requirements & General Skills:

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S
  • Deep understanding of email and push marketing channels, ability to process deliverability and performance data to assist in generating CRM strategy
  • Solid understanding of in-app messaging, digital performance and partner marketing
  • Strong understanding of ad tracking and serving technology (especially mobile ad tracking). E.g., Kochava, Atlas, DCM, etc.Strong understanding of link tracking technology. E.g., Branch
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and media principles, including direct response and multi-channel attribution initiatives
  • Prior experience in lifecycle marketing building sequenced CRM campaigns and measuring impact lift vs holdout
  • A passion for digital media and technology and an active interest in how digital innovation is driving change
  • Adept at communicating effectively across all levels
Technical Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experience using ticketing systems. E.g., JIRA
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Airship a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign a plus
  • Experience with ActionIQ a plus
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with a cloud computing environment. e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP) a plus
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze data, identify insights and develop actionable recommendations
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
